The Coronado Personal Solar Telescope (PST) is a 40mm aperture, 400mm focal length telescope with hydrogen-alpha filter built in for amazing views of the surface of the sun and its prominences. The telescope comes with a built in solar finder for precise image centring and a quick find external solar finder. Package contains 20mm and 8-24 zoom eyepieces. It is comes with with an AZ3 mount, tripod, a padded carry case and manual.

The Lunt LS60THa with an aperture of 60 mm and a focal length of 500mm (f/8.3) is a dedicated h-alpha pressure tuned solar telescope. This package comes with a padded metal carry case, a Celestron Nexstar SE computerized mount with tripod, a quick find external solar finder, 15mm, 17mm and 26mm plossl eyepieces and a set of detailed manuals.

Pressure Tuning allows for a shift into and away from the user, adding a 3D-like component to the viewing experience. The pressure tuning system provides an order of magnitude more precision to the tuning of the desired features. In addition to sunspots (dark patches on the solar surface), this telescope enables observing of prominences (eruptions from the edge of the Sun), filaments (string like features on the surface of the Sun), spicules (“fur” around the edge of the disk), and solar flares (a violent explosion in the Sun’s atmosphere) as well as other solar activity.
