The Criterion 4000 4″ F/12 Schmidt-Cassegrain
The Criterion 4000 4″ F/12 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope fits in a small padded case and makes for a great travel telescope. The carry case also includes a red dot finder, red flashlight, 90 degree diagonal, 7.4mm, 9mm, 18mm, 26mm and 30mm eyepieces plus moon and solar filters. Simple operation just point and look.

We offer this scope to members with experience on our smaller 5″ and 6″ Celestron Nextar platforms.

The Celstar 8″ Schmidt Cassegrain telescope with 2032mm focal length is big enough to see many deep sky objects yet relative easy to transport and setup. This Optical tube is currently without a mount. Eyepieces can be provided.

The Celestron EdgeHD 8″ (OTA Only)
Long time member Tom Swaddle donated this telescope to the rental program. This OTA provides Celestron’s best optical performance with EdgeHD’s aplanatic, flat field SCT optics for pinpoint stars all the way to the edge of today’s largest imaging sensors and widest eyepieces. This Optical tube is currently without a mount. Eyepieces can be provided. If you have a mount and are looking for a large aperture scope, this is a quality option at a great price.
