The RASC Calgary Centre - Volunteers Needed Page

Page last updated July 6, 2024

Volunteer (vol un ter') - noun - One who enters into any service of their own free will, esp. a member of a club or association who "volunteers" to assist said club with public activities, typically without monetary compensation. However, amply rewarded by the experience of devoting their time and efforts to furthering the association's missions, not to mention the ooohs and ahhhhs from the public. Highly regarded by other club members, and often acquiring copious amounts of applause at monthly meetings.
