Page last updated July 10, 2009On July 8, the University of Calgary (Dr. Thirsk's alma mater) awarded the distinguished Canadian an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
The highlight of the ceremony was an interactive, live videocast from Bob aboard the International Space Station where he is a member of Expedition 20/21.
