Deviations between Celestial North and Magnetic North (compass North) for the years 2020-2024

The World Magnetic Model is a joint product of the United States' National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
and the United Kingdom's Defence Geographic Centre (DGC)
The "Declination" column below shows the number of degrees between Celestial North and the location of Magnetic North for that year.
So, if the "Declination" is 14 degrees E, then your scope mount should be pointed 14 degrees west of compass North
before you start your polar alignment.

Example showing that on 2023-08-01, a compass would point 13.63 degrees to the East of North at Calgary:
