Public Donations Policy

  • The RASC Calgary Centre gratefully accepts donations of cash or non-cash items (i.e., telescopes, books).
  • Cash donations of $25 or above will be issued an income tax receipt.
  • The Centre maintains the right to evaluate all donation items before they are accepted.
  • Items that do not meet the requirements of The Centre will not be accepted.
  • Non-cash donations will require an assessment to determine the fair value.
  • An income tax receipt for donations with a fair value of $25 or above will be issued.
  • The Centre reserves the right to dispose of any donated item that subsequently no longer meets our requirements.
